Bookshelf

A living library of the reading behind Raw.Space.

These are the books I keep returning to: on relationality and the more-than-human, on coloniality and the plural ways of knowing it obscures, on living systems and consciousness, and on art and design as ways of thinking. Different rooms, one conviction: the world holds far more knowing than the dominant story admits, and much of it is already here.

Gathering reading like this carries its own risk. A list can take thought that was carried at real cost, often by the people that extractive systems were built to dispossess, and quietly turn it into one more resource, the very move several of these books name and refuse. I try to answer that by citing each thinker in their own edition where I can, by naming everyone who carried a text across a language or a border, and by leaving off work whose conduct enacts the extraction the rest of it resists.
