Hidden artwork

A collaboration with artist/designer Ofo Obuobi.

"My work is about being present in the moment. It is an expression of my constant state of meditative mindfulness. It means a lot to me that I can step away from the screen, from the pressure of becoming a "digital somebody" so that I can create with my hands.

How would we have known that we existed thousands of years ago if nobody left traces of drawings on rocks, discovered today in caves deep down below?"

This piece invites you to uncover what lies beneath through the simple act of touch. Each scratch reveals not just the hidden piece, but the tactile connection between intention and revelation. The work questions our relationship with concealment and discovery in an age where everything appears instantly available.

Like ancient cave painters who left their marks for future discovery, this digital scratch card bridges the gap between physical gesture and virtual space. The act of scratching becomes both destructive and creative (removing one layer to reveal another), paralleling how we uncover meaning through engagement rather than passive observation.
